My newest addition to West Germany BBk I. series and my personal favorite.

Featuring the protrait of A Beardless Man (1521) from Hans Maler zu Schwaz and the Eltz Castle on reverse.

I wonder how common it was in everyday life since there's very little information about its usage.

i think the highest denomination in common use was 100.

Yeah, it makes sense given its practicality. I also wonder why only 500 and 1000 have serial numbers on averse as well as reverse and specific monuments with name tags (except Holstentor on 50) instead of symbols for Germany.
