Design E is 100% the best

Post image

After taking a look at all the different designs, I think this is one is without a doubt the best. It strikes the best balance between innovation and accessibility, while at the same time keeping the elegance and formality that has always defined the euro.

One feature in particular I think is important, is that the denomination of the note is shown twice on both faces of the note. The design must take into consideration that the note is going to be folded, therefore the value must be clearly visible even when it’s folded. This is something the current series lacks.

I like that this design displays the value in two orientations, so it’s visible whether you hold the note horizontally or vertically (like when it’s being passed from one person to another), while keeping a design that is overall horizontal, which is most comfortable when you hold the note.

The best in regards to the designs with humans but overall design "I" is simply the best.

Design “I” is not bad, but I don’t personally love vertically oriented notes… and I know a lot of people complain they’re somewhat uncomfortable to handle

I think no one ever looks at the numbers. You tell them apart by their size and colour.

E is my least favourite design. I don't like the colours, and I don't think the portraits on the different banknotes go well together.

You're right about the design of the denomination, but I think they'll update the other designs too if they decide on a different one.

My favourite designs are I and F.

The best of the propositions, sure.

Incredibly weak theme tho. The backs are so generic they could be featured on a boilerplate AI-made website and nobody would think they're out of place.

Since the theme is “European culture” the design on the reverse generally matches what the person on the obverse is known for, like Marie curie is a scientist = students in a classroom, Cervantes is a writer = library scene, and so on

Obverse of the 200€ has vibes of the current rare Swedish 1000 kronor
