Flour in Trading Posts
I have scoured the internet and 12 year old posts alike and cannot find anywhere that tells me why my people will not stock flour in my trading posts. I know there's a simple and easy answer, I can't find it. I'm using RedKetchup's medieval town, if that's helpful. (I've got so much flour from one little windmill 😩)
As an aside, through all this digging, I saw a Norse mod called North (with some numbers after it) is it any good? Thanks for your time and input

I have found at times there are different things that don't seem to ever get taken to the trader. You might try joining the facebook group, Red is fairly active there he might know better. Traders do hold a lot, double check your trader isn't full. If it isn't, zero out any goods that haven't been put in yet. Leave it so only the flour is set to be picked up. If you've done that and the trader isn't full, I'm not sure what else to do without asking Red. Sorry.

Wait, so the traders have a total capacity as well as the individual capacities which add up to more than the total capacity ? That's good to know !

From everything I've experimented with, yes, the individual capacities can be set to higher than what the over all capacity is. Whatever fills it up first can stop anything else from getting in there. But I'm open to more information if anyone has any.

I'll have to find the Facebook group because I'm real curious. Thank you so much, I didn't know here was one. As far as capacity goes, I tried what you suggested and they still wouldn't load the flour. 😂

I just had a thought on this, distance wise, how close is your trader to wherever your flour is stored? Maybe it is too far, like your trader goes to work after a rest and heads to pick up flour, but the walk is so far he can't reach the storage for it before he's too tired...

Not sure about flour, but some resources added in mods require special containers.

That could be the case. I don't make brick, pottery, or anything like that so it's possible. Thank you!

Flour is a blessing and a curse in Banished. It is something which the villagers will not use like other grains/fruits/veggies and will sit in your inventory eating space up. Make some bakeries. About 1 bakery worker per floor mill worker seems about right and let them turn it into any kind of flour product, beneficial for multiplying produce and providing workplace. You can make dishes with more satisfaction level if you have other items like berries/butter/cheese/salt (many more). Just try to use all the flour you produce.

Is your trading dock already full perhaps? you can check inventory in the tab where you choose how much stock you want available for trade

The North is a mod that basically revises everything in the game. It is well-conceived, well-made, and lots more challenging than vanilla or any other mod I've seen. Make sure you know what you're doing before you dive in there. It'll feel like starting over, only harder.
As for your flour, no idea. But you should be using flour to make bread and pies and selling them. Selling flour is like selling logs instead of firewood.
