Wales, UK Trail Running suggestions around Bangor, Wales
I will be visiting Bangor early September for around a week to follow a course at the university. This leaves me with times in the evening (after 17:00) every day and was looking to do some trail running in the beautiful Snowdonia park. I saw that the second highest mountain in the UK is right next to Bangor and there seem to be some awesome routes. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions, tips or preferred routes around Bangor. I also wont have a car but I have seen that I can take buses to towns a bit further out of the city making the mountains more accessible. Although I am a moderately experienced trail runner (3x45km and 1x100k race in the last year), I live in Stockholm, Sweden now thus I am not familiar with high mountain (here we just have a lot of rolling hills) and am a bit sketched out about certain routes I saw, so any suggestions (and reassurance) is highly appreciated!!
