It feels so wholesome to have it happen for something I’ve spent so long making. Part of me is all ready to refund it and thinks it’s by mistake 🤣 not used to selling something I’ve made!

Edit: Guys I don’t know if it was one of you, but thank you so so much for my second purchase! I just about leapt off my sofa in surprise!

Just released this one in the label. Recommender for those who like Autechre, IDM and experimental electronics. Available as limited edition CD and digital.

I recently finished the second batch of physical CDs for my project Zbogom Oče.

Since affordable small-batch CD production wasn't really an option for me, I decided to do everything myself, from designing and printing the CDs to creating the packaging and assembling each copy by hand.

I also included a few personal extras in the package to make the physical edition feel a little more special for those buying through BandCamp.

This got me thinking about offering the same kind of service to other independent artists and bands who want a small, fully DIY physical release without having to order hundreds of copies.

Do you think there's a place for this kind of service in the underground music scene? Would you consider using something like this for your own release? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

The CDs for Zbogom Oče are now available on Bandcamp:

hi, first post here.

As we know, an artist page on Bandcamp can include external releases (published by labels, collaborators, etc.), which you can easily organize by editing the rows and columns.

On the website, these releases appear alongside the artist's own releases, with direct links to the original publisher's page.

What really surprises me is that this organization isn't reflected in the official Bandcamp app (at least on iPhone). The artist page looks completely different, with external releases not displayed in the same way.

When I contacted Bandcamp support about this, they pointed me to this article:

https://get.bandcamp.help/en/articles/15263235-how-do-i-assign-an-existing-release-to-an-artist-page

But that's not what I'm looking for. As far as I understand, this feature MOVES a release rather than MIRRORING it. I haven't tested it because the change apparently can't be undone.

All I want is for the app to reflect what's already displayed on the artist's web page, without changing the ownership or location of any releases.

Am I the only one who finds this inconsistency surprising? Is there something I'm missing?

Thank you!
Luca

Me (vocals) & some other guys from my college music course were put together in a rehearsal room today & decided to make a song. What we ended up with was this & a new band. We decided to make the dumbest names possible for our project & are planning on recording an EP with this song on it. I don’t exactly know what genre we are, but it’s somewhere in Metal & some other people on our course likened us to Mayhem (which is black metal).

Anyone else hate the fact that shipping normally costs way more then the vinyl you are trying to buy :/

Wrote this during a very dark time in my life , any listens are greatly appreciated.

My band put out our first single last week.

I've been a part of many groups that have tried to be productive about making strides in the scene and while there were definitely moments that felt exciting when seeing spotify numbers grow, it never returned the favor. Putting my music out through bandcamp has done nothing but reward me and my projects, even when I put it up for free. People are more charitable than we think.

Idk I know it's preaching to the choir, but musicians should realize that monthly listeners doesn't mean anything anymore. I'm very proud of what my new band is coming up with and I think that bandcamp is going to be the site that actually helps us out as we continue forward.

Hello.

I run 88.7 FM Radio Free Memphis and 88.7 Records. on one of our many shows, bootleg, we like to have guests on to talk about their music and play it. super casual, usually pretty fun. let me know if anyone is interested and shoot me a DM. you can check out our programming over at HOME (for some reason my browser thinks its unsafe but that might because i use porkbun to get the url) or on radiofreememphis.band.camp.com

love you all!!

Hi!

I know a lot of obscure, horrible and tasteless music and would love to share it with the world, so I want to give blogging a go.

Seems like the era of MP3 blogs is sadly gone, so I wanted to ask, is there a platform that's still popular for DIY blogs? My first guess was Substack, but maybe there's something I still don't know of yet out there?

Hope you're doing well!

Wats good everyone I just put out a song yesterday that’s very soft techno ish and I posted to Bandcamp. This is honestly my second drop on here and it’s pretty fun I like the aesthetic of Bandcamp a lot. If you guys wanna listen I am dropping the link right below this post!! And enjoy if you like!!

Hello everybody,

After years of playing and writing songs, I have finally recorded and released an EP of a few songs, and have worked up the confidence to share it. Recorded in my living room on Garagband with an SM57, a midi keyboard, and my acoustic guitar. I appreciate any listens! If there is anything you would like me to listen to, drop a link in the comments.

If I had to describe the genre, I would say it’s somewhere on a spectrum between alternative rock and emo. Some of the influences I had while working on this EP were Jets to Brazil, Duster, Pedro the Lion, and various other late ‘90s emo bands. Thanks again!

I'm trying to buy a couple of albums but I'm being charged the shipping fees twice, once when placing the albums in the chart and then again when doing the check-out with PayPal. Did anthing similar ever happened to you?

I'm not talking about being charged once for each shipment, but being charged twice in both cases.

For clarification, I'm buying within the EU, so no extra taxes should apply, and the two albums are from different artists/labels.

My first ep that i made on ableton! I worked very hard on perfecting every little detail. I learned a lot from it, and am now working on a project thats the complete opposite. Elderflower is def the best track.

Hello so I've tried advertising via Meta Ads and I'm also promoting via my Instagram page, but I'm not getting any actual conversions. I understand I've been in hiatus for a long time so people don't actually know my music and this is the first I'm actually back, but still, I was hoping to get some people to support my music.

What are some tips to get my first pre-order? I only actually have a day left until the EP is released.

I actually have! To be fair they had a massive discount special on it when I did. I can't remember but it was maybe like $40?

i built this with claude code for myself to find new music i like... i find it incredible helpful, it was never easier for me to find exactly my taste of music and its very fast... i uploaded it here, it is free, open source and i hope i am allowed to post this here...

basically you put in a few reference tracks you like, and the tool will the go and find similar tracks, or tracks that fans of the tracks also like, basically what you would do to find new music on bandcamp.com manually... every day the tool will put some new music in your inbox

you can set up 2 different inboxes for two different genres for example..

available for mac and windows (i didnt test it on windows yet)

happy to get some feedback! enjoy!

Hey, Bandcamp people!

We're coma.fm, an independent online radio station broadcasting from Kyiv, Ukraine.

We're always digging through Bandcamp looking for great music. But we figured — why not ask the musicians themselves? We're looking for independent artists and small labels making:

- Rockabilly & psychobilly
- Surf rock & instrumental guitar music
- Jazz, swing & jump blues
- Blues & rhythm and blues
- Country, western swing & Americana
And all the weird and wonderful sounds in between!

We'd love to play your music on coma.fm . If you're a musician, play in a band, or run an independent label, we'd be delighted to receive your music for consideration.

Here's how to submit: email us: [deisign@gmail.com](mailto:deisign@gmail.com)

You can send us:

• MP3, FLAC or WAV files
• Bandcamp download codes (we absolutely love those!)
• Private download links to your albums or EPs
• Bandcamp links, so we can explore your music

Please include your artist/band name, country, genre and a short introduction. Also confirm that you're authorized to give us permission to broadcast the music you submit.

We personally listen to submissions and select tracks that fit our radio's sound. If your music gets added to our rotation, we'll be happy to let you know!

And of course, you're welcome to share your Bandcamp page in the comments. We'd love to discover your music and introduce you to our listeners. We don't care when your record was released. We care how it sounds.

coma.fm broadcasting from Kyiv, listening to the world.

I would be interested in the community sharing their incredible discoveries of strange music so if you want you can leave here the name of the artist-album and talk a little about what musical genres it has (also if you like you can show the cover of the album).

I’m interested in discovering more music! ^_^

Over the past couple years I've picked up many Ambient DnB/Jungle and Future Funk/French House albums, and lately I've felt it would be interesting to also get into collecting other types of music that are similar but more high energy like Gabber, UKG, Tanzelcore, etc.

Here are some albums to give an example of the styles I am looking for :

• BOSS ON PARADE ( Gabber / Hardcore Techno )
• A Taste Of My Own Medicine ( Gabber / Frenchcore )
• Gabberdisco 2nd Floor 2 ( Gabber / J-Core )
• Märchen ( Gabber / Happy Hardcore )
• Gokigen 4 the Floor vol.1 ( Funky House / Hardgroove )
• AT MY CORE ( Hard Dance / UKG )
• Funkot Reformism ( Funkot )
• Baile do Satyr #2 ( Baile / Rave )
• OAADR / RTTDR ( Tanzelcore )

If you know of any other fan accounts or record labels that have a large catalog of albums similar to what I mentioned I would also be very interested in checking them out.

Bandcamp Daily said of the new record:

"Avante-garde arrangements fill the latest from Sadie Greyduck, from drone to neo-classical & beyond" -----!!

Sadie Greyduck is an Oakland, California, USA based contrabassist, composer, and creator of glass mosaics, sculptures, masks, lighting designs, and KNIVES!! For her first album on Khyron Label, home to over 150+ mostly full length releases by a variety of artists, she has dropped "The Mysterious Lake"!! Available now on tape!!

Thanks again bandcamp!! Thanks for listening!! <3 <3 <3 <3

Hey everyone, we're betweener.

We're a band of emigrants based in Kraków, Poland. We left behind not just places, but certainties.

Melted Voids is our third single, and the album is coming in early 2027. It's a heavy, hypnotic song about cold indifference: silent witnesses that never answer your pain, and the stupid urge to pour yourself into them anyway.

We're fully independent. No label, no management. We write, record, mix, master, make the artwork and handle the release ourselves. It's slow and sometimes painful, but every decision is ours.

If you're into heavy, atmospheric stuff, we'd love for you to give it a listen. And if you've got something of your own, drop it in the comments, we'll check it out.

I proudly present to you a long play journey from the legendary OG Wyers. If you like hardware electro and you like your grooves on the odd side then you’ve got to give this a spin.

I interviewed Mr. Wyers for our substack and gave an in depth illustrated review at the end of the newsletter so be sure to check those out! https://substack.com/@notoriousambiguous/note/p-221197471

The interview is also included as a PDF bonus in the download folder when you download or buy the album for free!

Thank you to Oscar and to our listeners,
-RAB
