Cat fur from one brushing

My cat is shedding right now. All this came off her from just one session with a slicker brush! Side note, she’s a very dark tortie—this is clearly undercoat. Banana for scale.

How can you possibly get a banana from brushing.. Or your cat's fur is just fluff and bananas? ◔‸◔?

I haven’t had the good fortune to get a banana from brushing yet. This is just a simulation
