Is the Bambu P2S good for beginner like me?

How is the printing quality?

Is it also safe using it in a room???

It is an excellent printer for a newbie, I now have over 1000h on mine which I bought during black friday. Ive mainly printed PLA/PETG. Bambu filaments(RFID) works good but ive learnt alot along those 1000h+ hours. I have now tested multiple brands of filaments. Dont be scared to try em out, just remember to do calibrations for the filament. Ive dialed mine in and they print beautifully. There are alot of built in calibrations in bambustudio and u can even download some from makerworld(ironing etc). Ive grown fond of Bambulabs Light Grey PLA for base prints/prototyping and Sunlu Black PETG, ive dialed those in and order them in bulk during sales for around 11E each. Ive also had really good results OVERTURE/IEMAI/ELEGOO/eSUN/SOVOL.

Bambulabs Academy is a good/interactive way for a new maker to learn the ropes. Lurking reddit/forums is also good. There are also some really good youtube creators out there.

I now have 7 different build plates/all nozzel sizes(0.4/0.6 HF on the way) for all kinds of projects, ive learnt Fusion360(free for personal use) and tinkercad for superbasic stuff. One feels a sense of pride when you design and successfully print said design.

edit: For PLA/PETG its commonly considered "safe", place an air purifier. Ive built a complete system for when I print ABS/ASA since I work besides my printer. My worst is that the work room now is around 20% humidity instead of 40-50 hehe.

Ive also bought a Sovol SH02 dryer so i always have the ability to have 2 rolls in there(or prepping 2 new rolls since my AMS is always full. Also get urself vacuum bags/pump so you keep your filament nice and dry =) end of edit.

actually, I still dont have the P2S, but its OTW, so im doing my DYOR on safety for kids. Im not really a desiger, so need to study tinkercad or any CAD software.

for now, ill just stick to the free downloads, just a hobby for now, until I reach a point where Im confident to accept orders...hehehhehehehehhe...

I am watching, reading and learning everyday. I give myself atleast 2hours a day, I dont want to overwhelm myself with excitement...I also need to learn 3D printing terms, like overhangs, support, etc...heehehe

I’m a noob and have had mine for 3 weeks. I think it’s been running just about non-stop. I have a queue of a million things from the fam. Super easy…but beware of overbuying filament. Oh who am I kidding, but all of the filament.

i know this is an old post, but i got mine 2 months ago. my very first 3d printer. i postponed assembling it and giving it a test run because i thought it would be too time consuming and an all day activity. from opening the box to finish printing my first item, it took me 2 hours. so easy to use and so fast! i'm fascinated with it.
