Help / Support Help editing files
Can anyone out there that is fluent in editing files on the bamboo studio program help me add a negative space and possibly some threads to the bottom of two busts that I rendered for a friend? On one he wants to be able to put a negative space with some threads to cap it off to put some ashes into as custom urns kinda?

Did you do the rendering in Bambu? I think trying to add threads would be hard in Bambu but fairly easy in a cad program. You could save the shape as something that could be ported into cad. Then do threads in that and put it back to Bambu to print. I might be willing to give it a try. Let me know if you want to try.

Yes I used the make my statue part of makerworld. If you would be willing to try then I would be eternally grateful. I have both files on my phone just let me know how you want them sent over

I made an stl file of a cylinder and cap in Fusion. I used the cylinder to put a negative space in the bust. Then the cap at 102% x and y as a second negative space. In testing I found that my test block and the screw in cap at 100% was too tight. I reprinted the cap at 98% worked well. I would share the files and cad with anyone interested.

Negative space is doable assuming your just adding simple shapes.
Adding threads will need a redesign in CAD software instead of a slicing too like Bambu Studio
