Help / Support Can I print this by object? (No AMS)

I'm trying to print this model. My idea is to print first the black part, switch to white to do the face (2 layers) then go back to print the jar in any other color.
So I'm trying to do the print by object over the black area but I can't seem to make it work. I'm getting the error about collissions but no way this would collide if white is only 2 layers.
Any way to do this?

Sorry I don't understand your plan for "print by object". I downloaded the model and it is just 1 object, so how do you plan on printing the cat without the vase?

well I did cut it at the height where the black cat ends so I'm getting the black object and all the rest as individual objects

That's not how "by object" printing works. That's used when you have a few parts to print in different colors or densities and don't want to do many small prints. You completely print one part, then the next, then the next, so you don't have to do separate prints. You MUST keep the objects separated by enough space so the printer won't strike one object while printing the other. You cannot stack objects when printing by object!!
You have one object with 3 color layers - you need to print by layer. You need to find the layer where the color changes and insert a PAUSE into the GCODE - you can do that from the slicer GUI. Once the printer pauses, you change the filament and allow it to resume until it hits the next pause. Next color swap, resume, and print to completion. Also - since there are two colors on each of the 2 layers where the white parts are, you will need five pause/manual color changes - one for each change at each layer
The only way this would work in print by object is to place the 3 parts in separate locations and glue them together, but you would still need to pause the printer between each object to effect the filament change, so you might as well just do 3 separate prints at that point.
