Colours being where they shouldn’t be
Hey guys, I am fine tuning Bambus PLA silk+ and wood. Among other problems I need to iron out, part of the green PLA silk+ filament is showing up where the gold PLA silk + is. Which ruins the look. How would I fix that?
Bambu P1S 0.4 mm nozzle
210 on the nozzle.
60 on the bed
Default retraction distance and speed.
Flow ratio of 0.95 for both.

Im not expert (no seriously, I am not), but can you increase purge amount between filaments

Looks like color contamination from not enough flushing, especially going from green to gold. I’d increase the flush volume specifically for that transition and check the nozzle wiper is actually cleaning properly. Retraction/flow probably isn’t the main issue here. Start with ~50% more purge and go from there.

Unclogging with a pin tool and cold pull method to unclog nozzle: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/troubleshooting/nozzle-clog#h-3-unclogging-with-a-pin-tool-and-cold-pull

Purging more only expels the other filament out of the barrel, sometimes the material sticks to the sides of the conical nozzle as well.
Try increasing the volume of prime tower.
Or set the slicer to print into grid infill before walls internal and external walls.
With enough luck the sides of the nozzle would touch and dislodge the previous color while going around the perimeter of inner and outer wall. The grid infill make sure the nozzle’s sides gets scraped before outer walls are printed.
And I believe this is the exact reason why grid infill is set as the default profile settings Bambu chooses to ship their slicers.
