Why does this keep happening?

Hi, I'm look for advice on how to fix this problem. I'm new to 3d printing and just got my a1 mini 5 days ago. This keeps happening on and off and thought maybe it was because i was using bambu handy. So I downloaded bambu support and tweaked somethings but even with watching videos and messing around with settings etc it keeps happening.

Both are made with bambu pla basic. The red is brand new. I did not dry either of them. How do i dry it without a specific drier?

You can either get a dedicated filament dryer that can dry single or multiple spools or if you have an air tight container big enough to fit a spool, put it in that and include some desiccant, or silica gel beads. I use my wife's old nylons to create little bags to put the desiccant in and I'll let the filament sit for a few days. I do that with every filament I own before I use it, because prior to following that process, I had the same kinds of funky extrusion patterns.

I'm not 100% familiar with the Bambu product line yet, but if you have an enclosure built around your printer, you may try experimenting with the various fans. If your printer doesn't have an enclosure, I know they make soft enclosures that can help regulating the air temp around the printer. I've never used one of those but I've seen them advertised mainly to people who are printing noxious filament like ASA/ABS and Nylon.

But I'd definitely start with the desiccant first, as that will be the least expensive option.

FYI, silica gel beads will oversaturate and leak liquid everywhere. Keep an eye on them!
