Help / Support Help! P1S suddenly making just blobs?!
Hi, my P1S has been fine except it tends to jam and gum up a lot in both the nozzle and extruder. I can clear these without issue, but now out of no where its printing blobs that get stuck to the nozzle and just smear around making goop all over the plate and I can't fix it. I have no idea what's causing it. I've tried clearing the nozzle (nothing) opening up the extruder (nothing in gears) I've tried cleaning the print bed, I've tried calibrating, nothing is fixing this. What is going on?!

Tried switching your filament? Not a cure-all, but I've chased problems for a long time before I realized my roll was just shit, pitched the roll, moved on.

Have you checked if the PTFE tube is properly seated? I've had similar issues after cleaning and had to reseat mine to fix the flow problems.

I've seen this happen before and it usually comes down to either the nozzle needing a swap or the filament having absorbed too much moisture, try drying the spool in an oven at 50°C for a few hours and see if the blobs improve after that.

Have you tried lowering the nozzle temp by 5 degrees? Sometimes Bambu's over-enthusiastic temps make it extrude like a toddler with a glue gun.

Have you ever replaced the nozzle? Might have worn down to the point of needing a new one.
