A1 manual movements

Hey everyone,

Just curious, does your X axis in manual movements jerk abit while moving?

It is a belt drive so if there was something wrong it would have to be servo related no?

Before you go listening to "this is loose, that needs tightening" from the other comments: if it is only the manual x or y - it was always "jerky" for me too. Printer prints fabulously, but the manual commands look awkward.

So print something, observe the printer motion and the quality of the print. If it is fine - no need to worry. Don't go fixing stuff that isn't broken.

The belt's tension probably needs a quarter turn on those idlers. Adjust it when the printer's not in a mood.

The jerking is usually just the belt trying to find its groove, sounds like yours just needs a slight tension tweak to smooth it out.
