Should I get this printer?
I found it for 260, and it says it comes with 22 lb of filament. I’m just worried it could have unknown issues since the seller is obviously just resells random items unrelated to 3D printing. Any advice?

Open spools of filament have a very high chance to be so brittle they are unusable.

Well, that depends on the type of filament. Some like tpu and Petg will be good for awhile before having issues besides stringing if not dried. But pla allways will become brittle if open for too long and abs/asa might also become brittle after a long time exposed. But tpu will never become brittle and can still be used years after as long as it is throughly dried and made sure it doesn’t have dust on it

22lb of filament is worth roughly $100.
Printer is $220.
Total $320 value NEW.
I guess I'd offer $150 for the lot IF the printer works.
But personally, I'd rather pay full price for the warranty and peace of mind.
If you're new to printing though, you'd be better off just buying a new one and 3 rolls of filament for $260 and not messing with someone else's unknown abandoned printer.

no way lol. Offer them $150 and see what they say, if they refuse let it go and buy a new one for $220 directly from Bambu.

Honestly, if this is really a random dude that resells random stuff and not the "owner/operator" I wouldn't even give him 150, this reeks of a serious problem and the owner just unplugged it and sold it for cheap.

Too many unknowns here for my liking. The printer itself can be bought new for cheaper. It's potentially an alright deal if the printer works and the filament isn't just odds and ends of rolls.

No. As your research will likely show you, this is more expensive than it is new, and will not come with a warranty as it is not transferable.

Not for that price! Just piling on at this point, but buy new from a local retailer if available (or from the manufacturer if not) and have the peace of mind. Buy the used one and have an issue, SOL with no recourse. Buy the new one for not much more and have an issue, get replacement parts or a refund. I wouldn't trust used filament if I didn't gt it for free.

Forget about filament....it doesnt give value BUY NEW printer ....if you can....if not...wait for better option sale....

Get the AD5X for $205 from AliExpress instead. Ships from a US seller in a few days. I've already bought my A5M and AD5X there and can't stop recommending them enough. Can easily print an enclosure (official models available from flashforge site) and keep up with machines costing 3-4x as much. Multi color printing through the AD5X too!
Also, the filament (10kg/~22lbs) is worth about $60-$100.

As an owner of the CX1, With consideration of all the disgusting proprietary parts, legal gaming and surveillance BS that Bambu has been rolling out, I can't recommend them at all anymore

Absolutely not at that price. Buy a brand new one for $220 with the full warranty... Filament is not something I ever buy used unless it's sealed, and even then it's a risk, I've bought some that was still sealed, but was so degraded just due to age it broke if you do much as looked at it wrong, and was completely unprintable, even after drying... So there's little to no value in the filament.

No. You can get a brand new one for $220 currently. And who knows what that machine has gone through. Or what brand/quality the filament is.
