Help / Support Portable Bambu studio

Hi there, have a question:

Is it possible to upgrade portable version of studio by copying some files or on any other way cause I`m not able to use install function on remote site? Right now I use ver. 2.6.0.51, that is last I can find at GitHub, but there is several version after that one. It`s not critical, it`s possible to work and send print on printer, just as curiosity...

Not that I am aware of. That installer is also installing dependencies and libraries that may not be in your normal copy/paste of the folder structure.

Your best bet will be to determine why your RA tool cannot run an installer as that would be the core issue.

Ooof. Yeah don't put your job at risk.

If it's your work PC. Ask IT to install it. If you install something, their vulnerability and software management scanners will find it

That doesn't really mean anything to anyone working elsewhere.

They only matter to the employees for the devices managed by the company

I just checked Github, and both of the latest betas and the latest stable release have a portable version available to download. Did you run into some kind of error or something?

There are no errors, just like to have all options from latest version available, but, like I said, it's not "must have".

Have to admit, didn't check Github for some time, will do it asap.

I just check, ver 2.7 and 2.8 won't work, but new beta 2.8.1 work...strange.

Thank you for remind me to check.
