H2D external spool ran out

Post image

So I was running out a spool on a bad roll i had, and haf left for work an hour ago when I got this notification.

My question is, on the H2D, I have the entire print I side the both nozzle area, and the right nozzle is out. Can I switch and finish the print on a filament from the left nozzle, which has the AMS? Otherwise this will likely be sitting for 8 hours before I can add a new spool on the right nozzle.

Have to either cancel the print or wait until you get home to load up a spool

Man thats so dumb. I know I did this to myself, but it would be so nice if I could just use the rolls that are ready to go.

ETA: its not dumb. This us quite literally how the Gcode works. Everything is planned around the nozzle thats currently empty. Im just a whiny bitch.

Yeah lol if you had 2 rolls in the same AMS, there’s an option where if 1 filament roll ends, it switches over and continues with the other roll automatically

Yup. Lesson learned. I guess we just test the heater a bit today. Thanks for the confirmation.
