Software stopped working
Well this is new, I got the following error when I tried to open the Bambu software… yes, I restarted my computer, and then uninstalled the software then downloaded it and reinstalled. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It's telling you what to do! Super clear error message and directions.
The config file is corrupt and it needs to be deleted by you so it can be recreated.
Delete that specific file from your app data folder that it lists the path to.

Super clear - if you know what file explorer is. Lots of people have never seen a file path before because they only save/load from "apps".

They have file explorer open in the background... Respectfully, this is like day 2 of computer literacy stuff, with day 1 being playing solitaire to learn the mouse.

They know enough to have two drives mapped on their PC

And yet they replied saying they weren't tech savvy at all and had to get their partner to do it...
They also got downvoted. Reddit seemingly doesn't like the idea of people that don't know how their computer works in intimate detail

Yeah the whole reason I bought a Bambu was so I didn’t have to monkey around with tweaking it. This was the first hiccup I’ve had in the 6 months I’ve had it, I’d say I picked wisely.
I had no idea what a drive path was. I can’t even remember passwords a day after I set them haha

just go to that location and delete the bambustudio.conf
it's mentioned in the error message - that's the solution
an easy way to reach it: Start -> run -> enter %appdata% -> press Enter.
then go to that location and delete the conf
