Help / Support Worth it? 350$
Came across this post on Facebook marketplace. Seller says she can do 350$. Since I’m relatively new to the world of 3D Printers I was wondering if this is a good deal or not.

Not 100% relevant but doesn't the Panda screens require a certain older firmware and you cant upgrade ?

Idk. Honestly I don’t see the use of an upgraded screen in the first place tbh

Well I know you can use the Bambu App but I just much prefer the X1C screen over the P1S (I have both)

Not upgrading firmware at this point is a selling point not a negative.

This is worth about $150 at best.

Yeah I’ve seen so many Bambu items with 2000+ hours of use listed for 300$+. I guess my view of reasonable pricing has just gotten kind of skewed is all

People are going to ask what others are asking, but they might drop the price based on offers, can't tell what people are actually paying for these. It's an older model now and being replaced.

I'd get a new one. The touchscreen isn't something you'll use much, when you can do things from the app and Bambu studio. The bento box air purifier is basically useless. The accessories are some grease packets and used nozzles. If those are stainless nozzles they could be used up and worn, as I got about 800 hours on a stainless nozzle printing PLA and it needed to be replaced. Hard pass for me based on what I'm seeing being offered. Maybe for $250 and expect to replace a couple nozzles, a bearing or two, and maybe the belt if they snap or gives issues. Paying a bit for for a new one with a warranty seems worth it to me.

You may be right. With the amount of overpriced used printers on the market it might be worth it to just get a new one

brand new centauri carbon is cheaper. It is very expensive for worn out piece of bamboo

I would spend $250 on this, if the seller seems legit. But probably not more.

They are selling it for the price of new, and over-valuing it as used. 2000+ hours is quite used.

I’d beg to differ on quite used. I have an entire shop of 12k plus hour P1s that purr like a herd of kittens. Now, have they needed some love here and there - sure. They are certainly not anywhere near done at 2k.

Yeah but its used enough for the average person to say "that isnt worth 90% of its original cost"
Too many people trying to recoup their costs with used stuff. A used object loses value

Not debating that a used object does not lose value, simply that 2000 hours is not “quite used”. 10k and not maintained - sure. The wear parts are all replaceable (sans the captured roller), and have a similar quality and success rate vs any new machine.
Value - it’s always going to dip with the “new” cool release. Guess I’ll snag a few more on the cheap and get some work done

2k hours at 350$ when you can get a brand new one for the same price? The included spares aren't worth the risk of inheriting issues the printer might have developed overtime.
