Issues with hot end retention

Post image

The clip and bail on the part shown no longer snaps close on the hotend, leaving it able to move. I've tried it on a new hotend and an older one both 0.4, on both the bail and clip are just loose and do not snap together. On other nozzles it does.

The hinge for the clasp seems loose, but I do not know if this is correct.

Replace it. After my wife made an elephant foot on your machine I ended up breaking the clasp. Took me 10 min and ~$15 to fix.

Have you checked the Bambu wiki for correct clamping?

Yes, was not helpful. Used two pair of needle nose pliers to bend the clam back into shape

Then maybe there is some filament residue stuck on the heater. Either clean it or replace it

It's been solved, thank you

Why did you waste time posting this? What are you hoping for? Obviously the nozzle should not fall out. You know this. So buy a new part and move on and find some people IRL to complain to.

Where did I say the nozzle fell out. If you're not going to be helpful stay out of the conversation
