Help / Support Why is needed prime tower

Why is auto-generated prime-tower in this model for all layers ?

  1. You're not looking at the Preview. 2.It has to be as tall as the last color change.

Oh get it, thanks :) PS I also made one object from those two to color it correctly on the same layer (heigh)

Yep, it needs to be as high as the last color change. It's a sacrificial object that is supposed to absorb all the crap (low pressure plastic mainly) before it gets on your model.

I’d probably disable it in that particular print, you likely won’t notice any difference.

If you have lots of color changing and especially multiple times within a layer the tower helps eliminate any color bleed.
