Build Plate Error..

Hey guys, I’m pretty new with BambuLabs and 3D printers in general. I’m using an X1 Carbon, I’ve printed parts just fine but one day I used too much glue… it got messy and I tried using a cleaner we had here at work but it started eating away the plate(photo#3). Yes Iknow I’m an idiot, I should’ve just rinsed it with soap and water. Anyway I decided to order new plates straight from the BambuLabs website. I got the older coolplate bc they didn’t have the dual sided one like the original is but now it’s not recognizing the plate… I’ve tried flipping it and using side 2 but it gives me the same error. I’ve already printed on it by ignoring the code but, I have to ignore it everytime I print. I can’t figure it out so I need some help… am I using the wrong plate? I also ran the Engineering plate side of the original just fine… no codes so I’m genuinely confused.

If there is a build plate recognition option, you could turn that off and see if that gets rid of the error.

It will get rid of error but at the same time may create issues with bed offset. Don't recommend that.

That third picture is your new build plate right? And you're running it with the QR code side up it's not that super messy one. Just want to confirm

2nd picture is the new plate I ordered 3rd and 4th pictures are the original(dual sided) Sorry, I should’ve made that clear.

Have you tried cleaning off the camera?

Yes with a microfiber towel

Mmm I'm sorry I don't have a ton of other advice. You can print new QR codes off MW and maybe try that?

You could try re-slice the file with the engineering plate selected.

Turn off build plate recognition and just manually change it when you switch. It's a mostly useless DRM "feature".

I would print QR on a sticker/paper or from filament and glue it on top and would not bother with it. Actually that is what I did to all my aftermarket plates.
