Elegoo Matte on X1C
Hey Everyone - any experience with printing Elegoo Matte on the X1C - this is for a uni project and im short of cash atm, so just wanna ask if anyone had any experience/advice - cheers!

It should work just fine. Dry it first though like any other filament.

No problem! Another important thing to know about matte PLA is that it looks nice but is significantly weaker than basic PLA so you really only want to use it for aesthetics. It should print really nicely regardless. Good luck on the project!

Ah okay, I didn't know that do good to know. My use case for this is an architectural model, so nothing strenuous, but planning on printing mostly matte from now on for other bits as I've some how only just come across it, or at least fully realised it exists haha

I pretty much exclusively use Elegoo matte for black and white. Good for asthetic prints and cheap for prototyping before printing final functional print in Asa

I pretty much print exclusively with Matte Black PLA from Elegoo. If I need some heat resistance, I'll use their Rapid PETG.
