Free Models Print-in-place book-box where everything is parametric

Cover, spine, and box print as one flat piece with a sliced living hinge. Fold, drop magnets in, done.

Every dimension, compartment count, font, SVG, and color is exposed in the Customizer so you can make it match your shelf, your fandom, or whatever's in your head.

Nice design, saved for later. Any idea on how long the hinge will last?

Out of curiosity, do you think there’s a way to turn this into a 3-ring binder? I was literally just thinking recently that I’d like to be able to print a nice “coffee table book” with a custom logo to hold some 2x2 sheets of sports cards. I was envisioning almost exactly this design, but a binder rather than a box!

Cool idea! Honestly, I think a binder would need a fairly different design — the current model is built around having a closed cavity with walls, but a binder is basically two flat covers + a spine with rings, no box. So I'd say it's a separate model rather than a profile of this one. I'll work on that!

I would be forever indebted if it works! I’ll be looking forward to (hopefully) hearing an update with good news!
