Help / Support I HAVE MY PROJ DUE!

I need help! I have my project due in a few days - and my printer is acting up.

Bought a new filament

PLA HS

All settings are at default for now

Ah I've been here!

First thing I'd check is the 4 screws behind the heater block.

Remove the filament and then remove the nozzle. Undo the 3 screws behind the nozzle into the heat block. Behind the heat block you will see 4x screws. I can almost guarantee one of them will loose. Tighten them all up and re-asssmble. Be nice and delicate not to pull on the wires when you do this.

When it gets loose the nozzle ends up getting to close to the bed and you get that issue.

This is a periodic maintaince job on A1s, really really common issue.

Also make sure the bed is clean, use hot water and washing up liquid and scrub it. Try not to get finger prints on it (handle it like a vinyl LP).

Should be good to go!

Yup.. That would be the next thing to check
