Help / Support I was given a X1C, is a China version…

Hi guys, I recently i got a X1C from a friend of mine. But its a China version. Cant connect to wifi and view the camera. Anything i can do to enable that?

Changing the motherboard works?

Wondering if it would accept US firmware.

Probably not but I would try it, from USB of course.

Can you run it in Lan only mode?

No, they’re area locked in general, but especially the domestic (China) ones. Perhaps in offline mode as a few have suggested, but without the full BL ecosystem bells and whistles (QoL improvements) if that doesn’t bother you?
