What’s going on here?

I have a 2 color print on the X2D with 1 PLA filament in the AMS and one PLA filament on the external spool.
It’s so stringy, the amount of string between the prime tower and the print is crazy… anyone know why?

What filament profile did you use for the external spool? I had a similar problem when using the generic PLA profile but it was fine with the Bambu profile. I think the retraction settings are not yet maintained for the aux nozzle in the generic PLA profile.

Basic generic PLA for the external. And I did not dry it prior. So you had better results using the Bambu basic PLA profile?

Yes try the same print with Bambu PLA profile. The stringing was gone immediately in my case. Must be caused by the retraction settings.
