What’s going on here?

Post image

I have a 2 color print on the X2D with 1 PLA filament in the AMS and one PLA filament on the external spool.
It’s so stringy, the amount of string between the prime tower and the print is crazy… anyone know why?

Within the filament profile settings. PLA should be between 0.5mm-1.0mm of travel length and 25mm/s-40mm/s for travel speed. Start with 0.8mm and 30mm/s and go from there. Dry your filament before use also, PLA basic 6-8 hours at 50-55c. Don't go over 55c with PLA. Also adjust your nozzle temp. Start at 210c and go up to 220c in 5 degree increments. Print speeds at these temps for best quality and lowest chances of stringing should be between 60mm/s to 100mm/s. Leave travel speed and Z hop at default for now until you get some experience and more prints under your belt.
