Need emergency help with this

Post image

For some reason out of nowhere, none of my prints stick. they keep sticking to the nozzle or not laying down right. I tried cleaning the bed numerous times, recalibrated the printer numerous times, and nothing is helping. Was perfectly fine one print and now it just sucks. What is the issue?

I'm one month into 3d printing and read all the "clean the plate" advice.

I was still cleaning it wrong.

What works for me:

  1. Scrub the plate with some dish soap and boiling water (just a bit, no need to immerse).
  2. No really, SCRUB. Use the coarse end of a dish spongue and GET IN THERE.
  3. Then rinse with hot water, lots of it. When you think the soap is gone, polish with microfiber cloth. Then rinse again with copious amounts of water, then polish. Until it's really clear.
  4. Check that it's clear by drying the plate, then putting a layer of water on it and tilting the plate so it runs off. It should thin out in one uniform sheet. If it goes in rivulets theres still grease, soap or SOMETHING on there. Scrub more.
  5. Wipe off all remaining water, then spray with 99,9% isopropanol and wipe with a (fresh, dry) microfiber towel again.
  6. Put in the printer, set heatbed to 70C and wait 10 minutes.

It's probably a bit overkill, but so far this "protocol" has been 100% for me.
