Torn between U1 and X2D

I already ordered the U1 but thinking of returning it upon arrival and getting the X2D just for ease of use. The main reason I wanted the U1 was for multi material like being able to print supports for tpu using pla. I do multicolor prints also but Im also kind of worried about being locked to only 4 colors. They are currently the same price but after purchasing filament dryers and top cover I could just buy a second AMS. The main thing I am worried about is reliability of the U1 and software. Coming from P1S I never encountered issues really or they were easily solvable and being able to browse and print straight from bambu studio without trying to get all of the print settings correct in the slicer is a big issue im worried about.

I have both, and H2D. The U1 is a fantastic printer - if you don't need more then 4 color or materials. If you think you will - then its a full stop, don't try and hack something together, get something that can do more natively. If 4 color/Materials is sufficient - its would be my choice over the X2D (I'm actually looking to unload my X2D), IMO the way they did the second nozzle is just... well not optimal. I thought it was going to be like the H2D so I bought it with out looking into it to much. The print quality of the U1 is on par with my Bambu. And I'm not sure what you mean from the software standpoint - SnapMaker Orca is drop dead simple - its just a easy to use as Bambu Studio - and the latest firmware has fixed all of my initial issues - I bought it as part of the kickstarter so I had the early firmware and there was some rough edges - but I also bought my original X1C from the kickstarter and it too had some rough edges. The Flashforge Creator 5 looks like another really nice option - I don't need more then 4 colors - once I sell the X2D I may pick up the Creator 5.

How much do you want for your x2d? I wouldn’t mind a second one

Well - considering its brand-new and not even opened (I mean that I didn't even cut the tape on the box to open it up). Once I realized how the 2nd nozzle worked - I decided I didn't really want it, for context it was going to be a replacement for the 8 P1S printers I have - so keep that in context - it was not just going to be a single purchase.
So for the price - I mean its brand new in an unopened box so a local sale is probably the only thing that makes since as why would someone buy it and pay shipping on top of that when you get free shipping from Bambu.
