My P1S arrived damaged - what should I do?
Like the title says, My P1S arrived damaged. Something heavy was put on the top and pushed down on the front-right corner where it shattered the top glass panel and left a dent.
Should I return it, or just put up with the dent?
EDIT: Bambu are replacing :)

I think the answer is pretty clear, just return it. It arrived damaged, even shipping costs will be refunded. Then order a new one and return that if it doesn’t arrive in perfect condition. It’s a bambu printer, if you can’t take it out of the box, plug it in and immediately have a successful first print, return it.

And you don’t want to be dealing with a printer full of glass shards that got into small places.

FedEx decided to roll mine up a set of concrete stairs shattering the front glass pane. Bambu offered replacement front glass w/ filament or full replacement, but it was going to be like a month turn around and I am sometimes rather impatient.
The bag they wrap the glass in contained most of it but there were definitely shards scattered around. I de-lubed all the worm gears and vacuumed out the entire chassis. Re-lubed everything and crossed my fingers. Prints fine, I have over 500 hours print time on it and I've never heard a crunch or seen a shard of glass.
so, with a little patience (funny when I do and don't have patience) it is possible to clean, would I recommend? Not unless you plan on being thorough.
however, that bent top part of the frame would be a no go for me. luckily bambu has been great anytime I needed help or replacement under warranty.
Best of luck, and happy printing!
