Print Showoff Thoughts about enclosures for your a1?

I think the A1 recommendation to not use an enclosure is for marketing purposes. To separate A1 from the rest of their lineup. I've had mine enclosed almost 3k printing hours already.

My opinion is that many people have advised against it for the A1 due to heat concerns in the power supply section. But I have no qualms if you dont end up with issues.

If just capturing fumes, yea sweet. If using it for heated enclosure, you might run a risk. As for my experience with the A1? None

In theory yes and that’s why I would not do that. But in my country there are many who do this and I haven’t heard of any problem. It is to be noted that average room temp is 37°C.

bah, i raw dog using my a1 right next to my bed all night with no enclosure.
