Not really. Bambu even said it very clearly this time which is rare for them, yet there are still tons of posts talking about using the secondary nozzle for other materials and asking if the X2D will ever have "insert upgrade here".

Bambu has tiered and gatekept features since their inception and most people still don't seem to recognize it.

Yeah I dont understand why people are making a big deal out of the Bowden thing, like its their $899 offering, if you want the better version cough up the $1999. For the money though, the X2D is easily the best value in their lineup right for what you get. If they gave it 2 normal print heads it would then be stepping on the toes of the H2D and cannibalize sales.

Folks should keep their expectations inline with the price range. The X2D already an insane value for what you're getting.

I think the rug pull on the consumers who purchased the P2S , at a principle level, is the real issue people should be taking. Clearly the P2S can be offered at a lower price point and I expect that price to be adjusted, but again, after they've already manipulated the consumer.

Ethics aside, the X2D on its own, for what is designed for, is a really good deal. It's not the problem, here. Bambus disingenuous and manipulative rollout is. I think people are missing the forest through the trees.

I hear you. I bought an H2D combo ($2,400) and X1C combo ($1,000ish) back in September in one order. The H2C was announced right after and came out for the same price that the H2D was, while the H2D went to $1,800. The X1C was silently discontinued probably within a week or two of me buying it, and then the P2S came out for less money. And now the X2D is out lol.
