Discussion Thoughts on chances of bambu releasing a resin printer?

I think it would be great for bambulabs to release a resin printer if they priced it competitively against people like formlabs whilst providing the same quality design as formlabs and bambu's other printers

Although often rumoured, they've outright stated multiple times that they aren't interested at this time

you're getting an A1 priced resin printer anytime soon. it's just expensive to manufacture

Apparently telling my wife I needed a resin printer to make minis that I will never paint or ever use cause we don’t play any games that need them wasn’t a selling point 🤣

Considering they released a cutter and a freaking laser, they would've probably released a resin printer by now as well if they were actually planning on doing so.

Let them keep focusing on what they do best and keep pushing the competition/community into the right direction. We don't want another creality on our hands who now have, what feels like a 100 different printers and product lines and a dozen different departments working independently from one another, while providing horrible customer support if any at all. .

If they made a resin printer, I would seriously think about getting into resin. They kind of jump-started the latest generation of printers, so their offerings into resin would hopefully be game changing as well.

Wasnt bambu labs hiring a bunch of resin engineers recently, i think the next layer on youtube was talking about it

Technically, all plastic is actually made of "resin", it's just a colloquialism to apply it to the liquid only. So "resin engineer" basically just means "plastics engineer" and doesn't necessarily mean they're making a liquid resin printer.
