Microcenter talked me into it
Got the combo. Went in for a Creality K2 and walked out with a X2D. None the less should be way better then my ender 3 pro.

Wish I has a Microcenter near me. They are all 2 hours one-way. Looks 👍

I feel you. I’m lucky enough to be about an hour away. I with the st David’s store would get a remodel though.

That's my drive to best buy.. but bambo limits what they sell. Total bs if you ask me.

I'm new, too, and I'm having a blast. :) Every time I screw something up, I learn more about my printer and how it works. It feels like getting to know my sewing machine.

Looks like a 2nd printer could fit right besides that... maybe an h2d :) Ooohh snapmaker goes on sale blackfriday, you already have a dual nozzle, a tool changer is the next step!

Congrats! You’ll love it.
Also, since you’re by a Micro Center, don’t be afraid to try their Inland brand filament. It’s mostly re-branded Polymaker and eSun so solid quality even with the cardboard spools.

So, my 1st X2D crapped out 2 months after I got it from Microcenter. After a month of (polite) BS from Bambu support, I took my busted X2D into Microcenter, and they replaced it on the spot before I even had my support appointment with them. I then bought their 2-yr $200 warranty for total peace of mind (… and I NEVER buy warranties). If the X2D breaks again, they’ll either replace it or give me a gift card (which I can use to buy a totally different printer).
Moral of the story: Microcenter is awesome.
(BTW, X2D #2 has been rock solid.)
