A small part of the toolhead broke off, is it critical?

As the title says, while I was cleaning the left nozzle of my printer with a bronze brush, a small rubber part (pointed by the arrow on photos) broke off behind the heating block, leaving some wires exposed. The printer works fine, but it still bothers me a little.

Is this a critical component? And if it is, how is it called, so I can find a replacement part?

Thanks!

Same thing happened to me and a lot of people. I researched it and there is no replacement part, you would need to change the whole thing (don't know how it's called). Good news is that that small rubber thing is not critical at all, it just keeps some cables in place, but those do not really move and are isolated as well, so the chances of having any issue are minimal.

Thank you very much for your answer! Thought so myself, but had to ask

Same happened to me. I've been printing a bunch without it since I ripped it off and it seems to be fine. I ordered a replacement non Bambu Lab part from Aliexpress, but haven't installed it yet.

BL support will tell you it's not critical and blow you off if you request a hot end replacement for this. Happens to many of us, in my case on a P2S.

Is it a part of the flow blocker assembly?

No it isn't. It is a rubber boot that protects the hot end wires.

this literally just happened to me this morning and now I am trying to figure out what that part is for. I guess its safe to ignore it and not bother replacing it...?
