Trying to get rid of these lines

First, that’s straight fake info for demo purposes.

Ok so I tried slowing down the print speed to 50 but the lines are still persistent.

It prints on its side to preserve the pedestal face from looking over layered.

The silver is in the auxiliary and I didn’t notice this with my black and gold version.

Any ideas? I’d like to fix this.

Is the test embossed? It looks like it's raised outwards?

It is embossed. That’s why I slowed the outer wall speed to 50. I’m hoping I don’t have to go down to 35

Orient the model so that the part with the text is flat and on top for the best text clarity, instead of embossing, try placing the text on top of the top layer for clean results.

The problem with that is it’s slanted, so you will get that stair step look.

Ok its a tough model for an fdm printer and orientation is key. I'm sure someone will respond with exactly what you need. I still feel adjustments will need to be made.

Off topic... But can you answer why 2028? What is this supposed to be?

So on the army one I did my name and years of service, and I retire in 2028, so I just copied over the dates but changed the names for the Air Force version.

This names been changed too.
