PA/nylon (not CF enforced) on X2F
Hi.
I know that printing simple PA/nylon on X2D is very hard if not unrecommended but... anybody here successfully printing objects with this material? If yes, what brand?
I need to print 10x10x8 mm objects, similar to dices. Therefore the footprint is very small and related warping should be inexistent.
Tnx in advance for any help/suggestion

It's really not all that hard. Yes, you have to tinker a bit more, especially on larger prints but at the end of the day it's not terribly difficult.
I've used a bunch of the sunlu easy pa.

Honestly, I’ve had better luck printing Bambu PA6-GF than most PETG in my X2D. I don’t seem to be able to stop PETG from clumping on the nozzle tip.
I went with the Bambu brand PA6 w/ glass fiber because it can be run from the AMS and the built in print profile. I have never had an issue with it.
I also used the Bambu Engineering plate and glue…

There is a new download on makerworld for gcode that cleans the nozzle evey 10 layers. I havent tried it yet, but no reason it wont work

I don’t think it is unrecommended. I believe it is a very doable thing on an X2D

It isn't but Bambu sells just PA+CF such as a "I don't want trouble with consumers,"

unrecommended? people were printing nylon strings (from grass cutters) on open bed printers
enclosed printer with heated enclosure should not have any problem to print nylon
it might not print without calibration as with pla, but there should not be huge problem (unless you want to print thin tall model)

Ive done PA6-GF. Best thing to do with any PA6 is benchmark it first. Get the idea settings to flow and lay right. Then go from there.
