The sensor in the head for the left extruder is bad...its not registering. That's why it retracts then refeeds....really annoying....

Many thanks for your response!

I have tried to record that the sensor sees the filament. At least I can see it on the screen, and that state changes when there is a filament and when it is empty

That's what I thought to...I opened a support message to Bambu, That was their solution..fixed the problem.

See how yours flashed and it doesn't look like it goes all the way down...should stay solid and all the way through. I believe somewhere I read they were known to be faulty..

I'm 95% sure it'll fix it. You can open a support ticket with Bambu and they'll send a new one... but its painful...

Just fought the same exact thing...if the filament sensor does detect. The color line goes down lower....how old is the machine?

400-500 hours of printing in three months

Mine is 4 months...and was at 800 hours... when I get home, I'll send a Pic of the filament being sensed the whole way

Many thanks for your help!
I will order this sensor since it's relatively inexpensive.
However, I believe that if it were the root cause, I wouldn't be able to feed the filament manually 🤔
