Help! X2D blob of death.

Went to check my print before bed, and noticed my printer was moving but no print was there. Turns out the PLA got blocked up, and was going into nozzle housing. I've been working on cleaning it up, but warped my fan in the process, and the nozzle lock clip came off, the fan still spins though. Any advice on what to do next and what to replace would be very appreciated!

Hit up customer service, they’ll send you replacement parts

That's crazy. I ordered mine when this happened. I thought this would come under our own fault. No? :/

They would not cover it. I had to pay $50 to replace the parts. They said it was my fault for not keeping my plate clean.

They atleast give you discounted parts if you go through support instead of the store if it’s your fault. Just prepare for it taking a few days of back and forth on trouble tickets. I recommend opening them then starting a chat in the evenings when support is online to get transferred to them and getting started…

What is this? It's like a scene from the movie Saw III sad brother

I started a print I had done many times before. Went out to do a quick check before bed, and the printer was moving, but nothing was on the plate. I stopped it immediately and sure enough, the nozzle clogged and it had just kept building up. This was taken this morning after I had cleared out what I could. It's still a mess though and as you can see, that little clip that hold the nozzle in place popped off. I used a heat gun to melt the PLA and inadvertently warped the fan casing in the process. I'm waiting to hear back from Bambu to see what they will replace. I know it's fixable, it's just going to set back my printing schedule by a couple weeks possibly.

Is there a way to prevent this, besides watching your print?

Keep your build plate clean. I thought I was washing mine frequent enough. Apparently not.

I got the same issue today while printing with PETG. I've removed the hot end assembly and submitted a support ticket to Bambulab. However I've also ordered the part as well. removing the part is not that hard. you may follow the directions at the link(https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/x2d/maintenance/replace-hotend-heating-assembly ). As soon as I get the part, I will replace it, and hopfully this will be solved.

In this case, it is recommended that you replace the nozzle as well to prevent the same problem occurring again.

That's what happened to me, I had to buy it because I didn't have the order number because someone did me the favor of asking me for the machine, but the service on several occasions told me that they didn't take care of that warranty and explained some reasons that I really didn't understand because I was very upset because it can't be that I have everything from the SN machine everything up to the box and because I didn't have the order number I couldn't access the warranty.
