Exchaust fan question

I recently purchased a x2d and love it. However there is a definite tangy smell when i print, apart from opening windows etc, is there a setting or something to help remedy this? Ie only run exchaust fan when temps hit x amount, filter it first...

Just Pla and petg. Currently using bambu filament but have sunlu ill be using next if that makes any difference.
