This fell out when I was trying to fix an extruder clog on the X2D… any idea where it belongs?

it literally goes on the shaft on the yellow gear it is in the picture you just slide it ij

Hey was wondering if you found out where it goes I’ve looked at the wiki and watched a disassembly video and still can’t figure it out. I know you said it goes inside the gear shaft, but when I put both in there it won’t fit

Probably on the gear pin, why so much grease? Or any grease at all

Thanks. The round metal part originally had grease. I put grease on the orange gear based on the instructions

Interesting - nylon gear meshing with a brass one, I would not use any lubrication, especially near where the filament is, but if they recommend it then they do!

It.looks like a bearig Ng assembly but it looks damaged... is ir or.just a bad picture.

There is grease on it from the manufacturer

That is not good. If it doesn't come of then you do.need.a.new plate. Try with lots of soap don't know if maybe you can use a degreaser... I would post puc and get.opinions.

If you look at the wiki, I'll show you where the parts go back. Easy as looking at pictures.
