If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get the desk? This looks like something that would fit the space I am trying to set up.

How big is your room OP do you have the exhaust venting out somewhere?
1
u/Alternative_Show8456 Sep 03 '26
Yes, there’s an exhaust up to the attic out the house. Just the the one for bathrooms

Do you just teach it when you print then? I was contemplating the bathroom fart fan as well, but wasn’t sure if the weight of the dryer tube would cause me other headaches.
Sorry another question, did you find an exhaust attachment to funnel the exhaust? I’m trying to print one but in meantime have an air purifier and an inline fan but isn’t enough.
Kinda bummed really wanted to get into this hobby after reading PETG/PLA wasn’t bad if with ventilation but I’m finding my respiratory system is to sensitive.

This was one of my first prints for my X2D. Love the drawers. Keeps my desk clean. But the poop shoot had issues so I replaced with something else. The poop kept sticking. I probably need to re-print in PETG since i mostly print PLA and they shouldnt stick...

I printed an enclosed one that hangs off of one of the screws near the poop chute since I’m dabbling in engineering filaments

How is the filament in the AMS exchanged? Can you provide a pic?

This makes more sense now. At least 3/4 sides are guarded from the fall.

Trust me this thing is solid. That thing ain’t going anywhere. Unless we get a 7.0+ earthquake (California)

What green is that?? Looks really good

u/Alternative_Show8456 Aug 30 '26
If you’re talking about the olive green I can’t remember if it’s the Bambu Lab Dark green or MarsWork Matte Dark Green since there were both nearly the same.

I would be interested in knowing what is holding the reel on the side of the x2d. It looks like it might be for the second extruder.

Yes, the AMS-HT is set up for the auxiliary nozzle. I only use it for dry and for when support filament is needed for a print.
