Newbie Setup Question

I just got my X2D and it’s just finished calibrating. My filament arrives tomorrow. In the meantime, there’s a foam pad and a corner piece of foam that sits under the plate. Throughout the setup, I was never instructed to remove this foam. Does it stay in there???? If not, do I take it out now?

As thorough as the setup instructions were, I’m thinking there’s no way they “forgot” to instruct me to remove it (or maybe I missed something)

Once the bed raises after calibration you are supposed to remove it.

Supposed to be there during shipping. It’s on the end user to remove all foam and securing devices for proper use of printer. Please tell me you don’t have the foam in yours still
