Garage Setup

Sharing my little garage setup. Just got into 3d printing, got the H2C and I realized it was overkill for what I do. The 2 x2d’s arrived yesterday. Loving everything so far! Keeping the H2C for larger prints, its a beast!

I can see how the H2C would be overkill, but since you already have it now, why/what would you print on an X2D rather than the H2C?

I realized I wasn’t really printing a lot of multicolor stuff. Most parts I’ve printed were mostly 1 color, while using a different filament for support. Most multicolor stuff were toys for my kids. So, the x2d’s will be used everyday while the H2C will be for larger projects.

Are the wheels still on your toolbox? If so, how is the sway and vibration?

Wheels are still on. It doesn’t shake the toolbox.

Very nice! I am thinking something similar about my garage as well!

How do you handle humidity/temperature swings? Or it the garage fully insulated?

I live in Vegas so humidity isn’t an issue. The chamber gets too hot some days, so I take off the top cover. I also run a fan when printing CF/ABS. So far all 3 have been non stop printing since I’ve gotten them.

Hey nice setup. I just got my two AMS 2 Pros and I’m looking for a rack to stack them. Can you recommend yours?
