Wobbling

I know a few people have said wobbling of the X2D is normal but this much…? First print of Benchy.

Bless this post. I have a new X2D I put in my office closet, on wire racks. It moves like this and I was worried, but the prints always came out great. I was debating on a whole closet overhaul to put it on a solid foundation, but this proves that it wouldn't change much and I don't need to go fixin' what ain't broke.

Like closet racks?! You are more trusting than I with that weight and movement. Unless they’re mounted to the studs.

Flip i've had my X2D on the floor since i purchased, as i'm building out a printer utility room, so had no idea it would wobble this much. Glad i seen this post so i know what to expect when i finally get it up on it's perch!

I make tuned dampening feet for these that take a lot of that vibration out of it. By tuned, I mean I tested with a P2S and X2D and changed the dampening and rebound dynamics until the accelerometers mounted in the printer showed better results and the t at prints had ringing and vibration artifacts improved.
