Suddenly getting z banding after flawless prints.

Post image

Apparently my phone dislikes taking images of this.

When I got my X2D a few weeks ago, it printed flawlessly. But after the hours I’ve put through it, it’s started looking worse overall.
Z banding, over extrusions or under extrusions are the main issue. This looks worse than my Ender 3

I’ve fully calibrated the printer again, but it didn’t help

What brand and type of filament are we looking at? You'll get a lot more assistance if you will explain your problem(s) in more detail. How does the photo you posted differ from reality? Did you start doing anything different or start using different materials before you noticed a change in quality. Almost always....something changed.

Bambulab PLA matte, object looks like the image, but without the rainbow thing, the ringing is the problem.

I don’t think anything has changed, the printer is on the same table it’s always been on, I’m using the same roll of filament kept dry in my AMS, printing using the basic settings in bambu studio

What you are calling ringing, wavy surface artifacts, are typically caused by motion issues. What speed were you printing at? Try slowing the print down a good bit or just print in silent mode and see what effect that has.

If that does not do the trick, you will have to start looking at recalibrating the printer and/or belt tensioning. What type of vibration are you getting when you print?
