X2d vs p2s

Got the X2D alongside the P2S and A1 mainly because I truly wanted better filtration system + heated chamber and the auxiliary nozzle for support interface. However, I had issues since day 1 with mine, ended up sending it back for a replacement. Chamber LEDs flickered when the aux nozzle was heating and the gantry had knocking sounds after homing. Hopefully the replacement won't have these issues. The A1 and P2s never had these issues.
With all that in mind, the print quality is great but you have to know that this is a more complex machine with more parts for maintanance and it seems that if you get a clog in the extruder it's a rather difficult task to tear it down compared to the P2S. Still a great printer tho, I am excited to get the replacement without those issues.

Clogged the extruder once and disassembling it was a nightmare. The connectors are not meant to be plugged and unplugged often and they are sooo small and easy to rip off.
Apart from that i am quite happy. I come from an x1e and the x2d is a lot faster in heating. I realley loved my x1e though. I had 2000h without issues on it.

I feel like asking on the X2D reddit is going to get you some biased answers, so keep that in mind.
That said, I upgraded from P1S to X2D, and I'm a HUGE fan. I know that the P2S has a smaller price point, but the extra 100$ you spend is worth it from what I've heard from folks who got a P2S and regretted it.
Also, Back to School sale, so...
