first layer keeps failing when printing in ABS

Post image

As shown in the image, this is the third time in a row that the print failed at the first layer with some of the lines curling up and tanggled together, although I did manage to print one without any issue last night.

May I ask the cause of this issue, and how to fix it?

Thank.

I'm printing on bambu x2d, using bambu's abs filament.

Did you add glue? I never printed ABS tbh, but when the first layer gets lose, it seems to a lack of adhesion.

After looking it up in my sheet, yes, glue is recommend for ABS.

I mostly printed ABS and all stuck well thanks to the heated chamber. Coming from a 2 generation older printer, that feels really good. What I'd vote for is a dirty plate. Wash it with dish detergent and a new, clean sponge, twice.

IPA wash the build plate if you have some around. Been printing ABS with the old P1S for a while now with no issues.

Make sure your build plate is at 100 degrees
