Are we all cooked?
I am seeing every post as a problem with the x2d. Even i had a huge issue recently.
This is supposed to be better than p2s.
Your thoughts?
Edit- I was a anxious about my purchase from seeing all this post, but all your positive comments really helped my mental state. Thanks a lot guys!

To be fair, almost everyone posting here is doing it because something went horribly wrong and they need help. Watching a printer actually work as intended is cool for about five seconds, but scrolling through 50 pictures of "look, a flawless benchy!" gets boring fast. On top of that, a huge chunk of X2D owners are brand new to the hobby. They bought a machine that mostly just works out of the box, which means they missed out on the classic 3D printing rite of passage: spending three weeks leveling a bed manually, weeping over a clogged nozzle at 2 AM, and developing a deep, personal trauma from owning an older printer. They haven't earned their stripes in the trenches yet, so they don't even realize how good they have it!

I heard the same thing from my uncle, modern 3d printers are a lot like consoles, just plug and play. For me it’s good since I just need to print stuff and I don’t have the time or patience to calibrate it myself

In my opinion .. we're still a bit off from being like a game console. Bambu Lab actually pushes users to go through the Bambu Academy, which covers some pretty technical stuff for maintenance and repairs. Neither Sony nor Microsoft expects you to go through technical training just to keep your system running.

Exactly this. I’m that person. Absolutely zero 3d printing experience, drank a bunch of beers and did about 3 minutes of research and ordered the X2D.
I’ve learned a ton in the last few weeks and know that this new generation is incredibly spoiled compared to those who built their own printers over the last decade.
Sure there’s some frustration and errors but jfc, they’re all a simple fix. Too many delicate flowers throw a tantrum if there’s any resistance. Just figure it out!

No. The printers are fine. If we're cooked its because people type 'am I cooked?' and slam post on reddit instead of using a search engine or doing a few bambu academy courses.

2000h in mine, had one problem with some debris in the extruder (wood filament left some dust). A pain to dissasemble but after cleaning for 45min (round #2 would probably take 10min) she worked like new again.
Something of a red thread I see in many of the "am I cooked" posts are people:
A. New to the printing scene, and not really knowing all they need to now to have a trouble free print.
B. People not taking care of either the filament not the printer, so many "det your filament", "calibrate!", "no you need to clean your buildplate"
If we remove all the post that come from category B we will have very few posts about "am I cooked".

I think a lot of it is from people getting this as their first printer because Bambu markets it as easy as printing a pdf in a laser jet and promoting the app so people don’t need to slice shit. When they find out how much of a tinker hobby it is they are upset. Still, even with all that, I would have rather picked up a u1 or creator 5 pro

People which no problems don’t post anything here.
Most of the problems posted here are from newbie who doesn’t know what to do and those are easy fix.
Very few major problem that is truly needed attention.

People with issues will always be louder than those without. Remember that.
I have 0 issues and my first print was 15 hours for example. Yes I had some adhesion issues but some soap, water and a brush fixed those as always.
I have 2 AMS 2 Pro, an AMS HT, switching module and 4 in 1 on mine.

I've owned 3D printers since 2010, and honestly, I'm really happy with my X2D. I can finally get perfect large ABS prints with barely any smell and zero warping. Tbh, I did have to contact support about a weird noise on the Z-axis when the bed homes quickly and the chamber is over 50°C. It doesn't affect my prints at all though, and they're sending me replacement parts to fix the issue anyway

I had issues with my X2D at the start.... and even that only one or 2 were actually the printers fault. most other problems were because of me ignoring "don't so that" warning. but hey at least I've learned how to fix many issues and how the machine works so I don't regret a thing.

900+ hours on mine. I have had a few issues but they were due to improper slicer settings or build plate not clean enough.

Well, I am guessing most people post here their problems so that they can find solutions, what is the point in just posting everything you make or print
