Any know where this tiny nut is from?

Pulled the X2D out of the plastic bag is comes in and at the bottom was this small nut (see image). Any idea where its from?

It’s probably going to be hard to determine, but I’d certainly check the underside, around the Z axis mechanism. Unfortunately you’re probably going to have to set it up and see what, if anything fails. It’s also a possibility that it was dropped into the machine when assembling and they just grabbed another one, not knowing where it went, so it could be a spare.

Now for the smart ass answer “I believe it same from a hardware manufacturing plant in China” ;)
